The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Patricia de Lille has tested positive for Covid-19.
She said on Twitter this morning that she immediately self-quarantined after receiving the news on Friday.
De Lille tweeted that she also informed those who had come in contact with her to do the same.
She said as the country entered the third wave of the pandemic, she called on all South Africans not to let their guard down, to keep wearing masks, and to wash and sanitize hands on a regular basis.
