Performance of SAPS to be examined

 Police management will examine the performance of the SAPS during a two-day meeting that starts in Boksburg on Friday.

The police ministry says the meeting will examine and audit the all-round performance of the SAPS.

Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa, his deputy Makhotso Sotyu and national police commissioner Riah Phiyega are expected to attend.

Crime-fighting strategies will also be reviewed.
