South Africa and Chevrolet Warriors cricketer Wayne Parnell, who faces drug charges over a late-night party last year following an Indian Premier League game, surrendered to a Mumbai court on Monday.
Parnell, who is in India as part of the Pune Warriors squad for the ongoing 2013 IPL season, was granted bail of 10-thousand rupees - about 185 dollars.
Parnell and Pune team-mate Rahul Sharma were among nearly 100 people detained for medical testing at an upmarket hotel in Mumbai last May which was raided by police who found drugs on the premises.
Parnell, who left India after the medical examination, has denied any wrongdoing.
