Police in Groblersdal are investigating a case of murder after the body of a 28-year-old man was found with several gunshot wounds on a Limpopo farm.
Provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, identified the deceased as Raymond Papabavlou.
He said he was found with several gunshot wounds in a farmhouse at Frischgewagt farm between Stoffberg and Groblersdal just after midnight on Monday morning.
“The police were called to the scene and upon arrival, they found the wife of the deceased together with some community members. The bullet-riddled body of the deceased was found in one of the rooms,” said Mojapelo.
He said the investigations into the circumstances of the shootings, “including the information that suggests the wife might also have fired some shots”, have already begun.
No arrests were made.
