A man has plunged to his death while hiking on Table Mountain's Lion's Head.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel André Traut, said that the body of a 47-year-old man was retrieved on Sunday.
He slipped and fell while hiking with family members.
Traut says the man was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
