A man has been arrested during a takedown operation in Midrand for the possession of child pornography.
According to the National Police office, the 35-year-old man was arrested on Friday, where thousands of images depicting child abuse have been found at his home.
Police say at least 10 thousand images have already been seized as the suspect will also be charged for possession, accessing, downloading and distributing child pornography.
