Julius Malema’s opening address to the league's three-day lekgotla will be used against him when the mitigation phase of his disciplinary process gets underway today.
Malema will face the ANC's disciplinary committee in a bid to have his five-year suspension for bringing the ANC into disrepute reduced.
However, Malema hinted yesterday that his opening speech to the lekgotla would be used against him at the hearing.
He told delegates on Friday that any decision to fire him was the prerogative of the league and not the ANC.
