ANC Secretary-General Gwede Mantashe has promised that the ruling party will pull out all the stops to restore its values.
He was speaking during the organisation's centenary celebrations organised by traditional leaders in Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape.
Mantashe urged the ANC Youth League to observe the party's code of conduct, despite their autonomous status.
Traditional leaders and other elders in the organisation were recognised, however the chiefs complained about being left out in President Zuma's State of the Nation Address.
They say they have issues to raise with government.
