Kids still critical after being struck by lightning

Nine school children,three of them in a critical condition, are still in a Johannesburg hospital after being hit by lightning in two separate incidents this week.
They include 4 girls from Protea Glen Secondary School and 5 boys from King Edward the seventh School.
The Gauteng education department says the Soweto girls were struck by lightning on Monday while on their way home from school.
The boys were struck on Tuesday.
Meanwhile a 17-year-old boy died and a 16-year-old girl were injured when lightning struck them near Mthatha on Monday afternoon.
