The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent time at Monwabisi Beach in Khayelitsha on Tuesday as they visited a mental health service non-governmental organisation (NGO).
Harry and Meghan were dancing and participating in a meditation circle as they visited children benefitting from Waves for Change, a community-building organisation specialising in surf therapy.
The couple later separated, with Meghan heading off to an event of the Lunchbox Fund, which provides meals to orphaned and vulnerable school children.
Harry then took up his official duties as Captain General Royal Marines when he hopped on a boat to accompany the Cape Town Maritime Police Unit (MPU). The MPU received training from the UK Military Short Term Training Team.
This was the second day of their 10-day tour of Africa.
On Monday they visited Nyanga township where they visited the Justice Desk, an NGO supported by the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, of which the duke serves as the president and the duchess as vice-president.
