Embattled low-cost airline, Velvet Sky, sys its future will depend on the outcome of BP's
application to have the low-cost airline provisionally liquidated.
CEO, Gary Webb, said today that they are waiting for a ruling in BP's application, adding that the airline is hoping for a positive outcome.
Last month BP turned to the Pietermaritzburg High Court for the provisional liquidation of the low-cost airline which reportedly owes the fuel company 29-million rand.
Velvet Sky suspended operations for five days last week and remained grounded today.
The airline said customers holding reservations for dates during the suspension could change their bookings to a later date, or apply for a refund.
