Four people were killed and three others were injured in a collision between a truck and a light motor vehicle on the N4 near the Sudwala offramp in Mpumalanga on Friday evening.
ER24 says when paramedics arrived at the scene they found a vehicle slightly wedged underneath the front of the truck.
Spokesperson, Inneke van Huysteen says four people, found stuck inside the light motor vehicle, were declared dead at the scene.
She says the truck driver and his two passengers sustained minor injuries, but they declined to be transported to the hospital.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
