Former Lions rugby player, Johan Kemp, has been shot dead in his house in Randburg, Gauteng.
Police spokesperson, Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini says Kemp was shot three times in the upper-body, when three burglars broke into his house in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Dlamini says his wife, Elaine, was also threatened by the burglars.
The burglars took jewellery, two cellphones and a laptop and fled in the family's Opel Corsa.
