Western Cape Police have launched a man-hunt for six suspects who shot and killed five people while another was left injured in Milnerton on Thursday.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Novela Potelwa said the suspects arrived at a house at Sekowa Street, in Joe Slovo after 10:00 PM looking for an individual identified only by name.
One suspect shot two women in the head.
One died on the scene whilst the other person was transported to a hospital for a gunshot wound.
Brigadier Potelwa said, a few minutes later, the six arrived at another house in Dada Street where they shot and killed three men and a woman between the ages of 28 and 36.
The motive for the killings is not yet known.
Police appeal to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact their nearest police station.
