The death toll in Durban's flash floods has risen to 32 with several people still missing.
This follows a violent storm that moved over the eThekwini area on Monday night and continued into Tuesday morning.
The MEC for Cooperative Governance (COGTA) in the province Nomusa Dube-Ncube says the expect the death toll to rise.
She says they will continue gathering information from SAPS as well as health officials as information is still coming in.
According to Cogta, over 2,000 emergency calls were logged on Monday night.
