Two Western Cape call centre agents are expected to appear in the Goodwood Magistrate's Court on Tuesday for allegedly committing credit card fraud.
The suspects, aged 23 and 29, were employed by a reputable Financial Service Credit Provider in the area.
It is alleged that they shared the information of at least eight cardholders with a syndicate who then manufactured counterfeit cards to make illegal purchases.
The suspects shared this information whilst on duty, dealing with complaints and queries.
The Hawks said a total loss of R95 000 was incurred over a period of just over a month.
