A Durban mosque was gutted in the early hours of Monday morning following an alleged arson attack, according to the Effingham Islamic Society Trust.
The incident took place at about 12.40 am according to a press statement released by the Trust.
According to a Statement issued by the Trust, the fire was as a result of arson.
Police have not yet responded to questions.
Law enforcement is being investigated and more info will be released in due course.
