Department of Environmental affairs and tourism conducting greening road-shows

The Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism will be conducting greening road-shows in the Eastern Cape this week.
The department says the geening and resource efficiency roadshows in Port Elizabeth and East London, are aimed at educating tourism product owners about the importance of using natural resources optimally and efficiently.
The Department says responsible tourism is a growing global trend which offers opportunities to develop tourism products that can contribute to government's socio-economic objectives.
It says resource efficiency, as a component of responsible tourism, is the step to improving the sustainability of business in the tourism sector.
