The ANC says ignorance lies behind DA parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko's latest criticism of President Jacob Zuma.
It has rejected her advice to Zuma to retract a remark that it is to the benefit of business to support the ANC.
Speaking during the party's birthday dinner in Durban on Friday, Zuma told business people that those who supported the ANC would see their businesses "multiply".
Mazibuko said she would submit parliamentary questions to Zuma so he could explain whether the remarks were in fact government policy.
In its reaction, the IFP said Zuma was promoting corruption by urging businesses to support the ANC for personal gain.
