Western Cape police have arrested a 30-year-old man who was found to be in possession of SAPS uniforms.
Police spokesperson, Captain FC Van Wyk, said they were acting on a tip-off when they made the arrest at a house in Tafelsig on Thursday.
"Upon searching the premises, members found a firearm, with three rounds of ammunition. A further search also led to the discovery of SAPS uniform items comprising of three shirts, two pairs of trousers and a bulletproof bag," he said.
The suspect is due to appear soon in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate’s Court.
