Baby kidnapped by live-in nanny still missing

Police are still looking for a six-month-old baby who was kidnapped by a live-in nanny in Pretoria yesterday.

Police spokesperson, Liuetenant-Colonel Tshisikhawe Ndou, says the baby's mother realised yesterday morning that the baby was gone from their home in Hestia Park.

The nanny, a 21-year-old Zimbabwean national, also took cell phones, a wallet and bank cards.

She reportedly sent the mother an SMS,  demanding a 45-thousand rand ransom.
