ANC Women's League wants Dewani extradited urgently

The ANC Women's League has handed a letter to the British High Commission demanding that Shrien Dewani be extradited to South Africa.

The Women's League held a march to the High Commission's office today to implore the courts in the United Kingdom to consider the fact that justice needs to be served in South Africa.

The league wants Dewani, who is fighting his extradition, to stand trial for allegedly orchestrating his wife's murder in November 2010.

He has denied the claim.

Three South Africans are already serving jail sentences for their role in Anni's murder.
