The ANC says the police should leave no stone unturned in catching the criminals who assaulted ANC MP, Sue van der Merwe, in her Rondebosch home.
ANC spokesperson, Molotho Mothapo, said the suspects broke into Van der Merwe's home on Friday night.
He declined to comment on the nature of her injuries.
"We are in no position to discuss the nature of the injuries except to say that she is sustained injuries when the suspects broke into her home in Rondebosch. She has since been released from hospital and is recovering" Mothapo said.
