The PE Branch of the SA Weather Service has issued several severe weather alert warnings and advisories for Tuesday as a cold front sweeps through the province.
Gale force southwesterly winds of at least 62km/h with gusts over 80km/h are expected along the coast and adjacent interior between Oyster Bay and Coffee Bay until late afternoon.
High seas with wave heights above 6 metres are expected between Plettenberg Bay and Port Edward.
There’s also an advisory of light snowfalls of 5 to 10cm expected over the northern high ground and the southwestern mountains overnight until Wednesday evening.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperatures are going to be very low across the region on Tuesday.

Reports have also been received about the Wapadsberg Pass on the R61 which closed as a result of snow.
