An intense cold front, supported by an upper air trough, will move through the Eastern Cape on Friday, and ahead of this system, high fire danger conditions are likely over the interior on Thursday Garth Sampson of the PE branch of the SA Weather Service says the cold front will start to affect the western areas of the province on Friday morning and move to the eastern half by Friday evening, bringing with it cooler temperatures.
