Warriors washout in East London

The Momentum Cup one-day match between the Chevrolet Warriors and the Cape Cobras was abandoned without a ball being bowled at Buffalo Park in East London on Friday due to persistent rain.

Each team takes two points from the game and both are unbeaten after three matches in this season's series.
The Warriors have 11 points from three games and the Cobras ten and the Warriors also hold a slight advantage in net run rate.

The Cobras niow host the Lions at Newlands on Sunday and the Warriors next game is against the Dolphins at Axxess St George's on Wednesday.

In matches that did take place on Friday  - the Titans held their nerve to beat the Highveld Lions by one run at the Wanderers as they barely defended a sizeable totle of 302.

In Kimberley - Morne van Wyk struck his first century for the Sunfoil Dolphins to lead his team to a narrow four-wicket win over the Chevrolet Knights and condemn his former franchise to their third straight defeat in the competition.
