Walters second in Portugal

David Lynn won the Portugal Masters on Sunday  while South African Justin Walters took second spot just two weeks after his mother's death.

Lynn, who started the final round on the Algarve six shots off the pace, carded a final round 63 for an 18 under par total of 266, with Walters a shot further back.

Overnight leader Paul Waring of England shared third place on 268 with compatriot Stephen Gallacher and Austria's Bernd Wiesberger.

On the US PGA Tour, Jimmy Walker closed with a five-under 66 to capture the Frys.com Open and record his first USPGA Tour victory.
The 34-year-old American had to come from behind to win at the CordeValle Golf Club as it took Walker 188 tries to get his first victory on the Tour.
Fiji's Vijay Singh (68) placed second, two strokes back as he finished at 15-under par 269.
