Cudos to former EP Amateur Golf Champion Allister de Kock who has secured his card via the Vusi Ngubeni Qualifying school to join the Sunshine Tour next year as a professional golfer.
Only ten cards were on offer at the Qualifying school at Observatory Golf Club last week.
The Uitanhage born golf led at the half way stage after a second round of 65.
He hung on with rounds for 74 and 72 in the final two rounds to finish in fourth position, 5-shots behind the winner Alpheus Kalepile.
Allister will be sorely missed in the EP Amateur ranks as a regular member of the EP provincial team - but he now gets to chase his dream of being a successful professional golfer.
Although he finished outside the top ten, East London's Ben Jonas played well enough to secure his entry to next year's secondary Big Easy Tour.
