The 2014 BLG Logistics Tuna Classic concluded in Algoa Bay on Saturday with Pieter Moore on the boat Mickaela landing the biggest catch of the day - an 18.6 kilogramme yellow fin tuna.
Unfortunately, this fish did not meet the weight requirement of 25 kilogrammes for the 100-thousand rand cash prize or 20 kilogrammes for the rubber duck.
The duck was auctioned and the money went to BLG's charity for kidney cancer awareness.
Andre Wilkins junior from Klerksdorp won the Ford Ranger Double Cab bakkie from East Cape Motors for the record 102.8 kilogramme yellow fin tuna he landed on the first day of the competition on Thursday.
Challenger, the boat he was fishing off, took home the 50-thousand rand in cash prize for the Top Boat.
