Tributes were coming in on Monday for former Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns star, Anele Ngcongca, who has been killed in an accident in Kwazulu Natal.
The 33-year-old was involved a car crash on the N2 near Mthunzini on Monday morning on the KZN North Coast.
A woman who was in the car with him is currently in critical condition in hospital.

SAFA President, Dr Danny Jordaan, also offered his condolences to Ngcongca’s family, saying he was left devastated at the news.
He said road accidents had claimed the lives of many football players and something had to be done to stop this terrible trend.
The Inkatha Freedom Party said that news of Ngconga’s passing “has shattered the country and the soccer fraternity as a whole”.
The lanky defender was born in Cape Town and earned 53 caps for South Africa and featured for Bafana Bafana at the 2010 World Cup.
