Former Springbok coach Peter de Villiers has made the shortlist to become the new head coach of the EP Elephants for next season.
EP Rugby Union General Manager Thando Manana announced the shortlist this afternoon.
De Villiers is no stranger to Nelson Mandela Bay, and actually coached the Southern Spears when they were formed in Port Elizabeth in 2005, with a view to becoming part of Super Rugby
The other four names on the shortlist are former Springbok backline players Ricardo Laubscher and Deon Kayser, former North West University Pukke head coach Jonathan Mokuena and former UCT Ikeys head coach Kevin Musikanth.
The Under 20 Head coach position was also shortlisted and features five qualified candidates as well.
Manana said interviews have been scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd of next month.
