Chippa United have a tough 2016 season opener, having been drawn against defending champions Kaizer Chiefs.
The match will be played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on the 8th of August and will be followed by an equally tough secound round fixture - away to Orlando Pirates. .
The PSL announced the draw for the new season on Wednesday.
Mamelodi Sundowns will open their season away to nemesis, Platinum Stars while Orlando Pirates have a tricky encounter against SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
The newly promoted teams of Golden Arrows and Jomo Cosmos, are at home to University of Pretoria and away to Maritzburg United respectively.
