South Africa's top show jumpers will be converging on the Port Elizabeth Riding Club in Lorraine next weekend for the Blue Steel Equestrian Autumn Show in association with Liberty and Royal Feeds.

The action takes place from 25 - 27 March on courses that meet International standards designed by top South African International Course Designer, Ryan Sanders.

Blue Steel Equestrian director Amy-Lee Radke says the festival of show jumping will culminate in the prestigious Blue Steel Cup and Mini Cup at lunchtime on Sunday 27 March.

Showing, equitation and dressage will also be held throughout the three-day event at which there is no entry fee, although proof of vaccination is required for all participants and spectators.

Event organiser Tanja Radke says top Plett show jumpers Ivan Van der Sijde and Savannah Gierke have confirmed their participation as has AJ Radermacher from George.

"Hopefully Susan Turner from Cape Town will be coming and bringing a number of Western Cape riders with her," said Radke. "Our very own Jade Hooke, now Jade Walsh, who is of course an SA Champion show jumper in her own right, will also be competing along with the likes of other local riders in Charles Roberts and Maree Lamont."

At 5pm on Saturday 26 March, G & G Productions in association with AlgoaFM will present the boutique music and lifestyle experience - "Ryders" to the PE Public.

Set on the idyllic lawns of PE Riding Club, the festival will feature award winning Cape Town sensation GOODLUCK alongside Joburg's Kyle Worde and local PE superstars Tim Sedso, Lamond and Jake White Disco.

Tickets are available at G.Howler.co.za/Ryders

The charity of choice for the Autumn Show is the East Cape Horse Care Unit.
