2012 EP Kings player of the year Tiger Mangweni has been ommitted from a trimmed down squad of 40- from the original 51-man training squad - for this season's super rugby competition.
Its not a total surpise as the veteran EP Kings centre was already in the twilight of his career last season. He'll still be very much part of the Kings system for the Vodacom Cup and the Currie Cup first division campaign.
EP Kings manager Willem Oliphant announced the trimmed down Super Rugby squad yesterday and it includes the much talked about flier Sergeal Petersen who made such an impression for EP at Craven Week last year.
