The world number one-ranked Proteas were set to arrive in Port Elizabeth this morning ahead of the second test against New Zealand at Axxess St Georges from Friday.
They'll practice at the ground this afternoon with an autograph signing session planned for lunch time tomorrow at the same venue.
Meanwhile, Proteas opening batsman, Alviro Petersen is crediting his rise up the ICC Test batting rankings to his hunger to contribute toward the team's success - he made a superb century in the first test win over the Black Caps in Cape Town.
Petersen says the Test squad's dominance in the last year has certainly aided him in reaching a career high of 20 in the latest ICC test rankings.
