Three matches and three wins in the bag for the Mecer NMMU Madibaz representing Eastern Province at the National Club Cricket Championships in Pretoria.
Yesterday, the Madibaz annihilated Benoni Northerns in what really was a no contest.
Batting first, the Benoni team were back in the clubhouse for 46 all out. Matthew Kennedy who was named man-of-the-match with 4/19, had great support from Anrich Nortje 3/11 and Corbyn Dolley with 2/1.
The Mecer Madibaz easily knocked off the required runs in just 8.2 overs with Eddie Moore again carrying his bat for 23.
The Madibaz go into their penultimate pool game today against St Patrick College topping section 1 with a full house of points and looking very strong for the playoffs.
