Three players called up ahead of Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens

Port Elizabeth-born Stephen Hunt has received a dream call-up to the SA Sevens squad for this week's Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens.

Hunt missed out on selection for last week's Dubai Sevens but comes into the reckoning this week with Stephan Dippenaar out with an injured hamstring.

At a media function at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday morning, coach Neil Powell said Kwagga Smit and Grahamstown born Rosko Speckman would also be joining up with the squad.

He said, however, that only two of them were likely to make the 12-man squad for the weekend which will be named on Thursday.
