27 year old Glen Addicot will become SWD's 50th first class player when he makes his debut for the men from the Southern Cape against Western Province in a 3-day provincial challenge match this week.
The match starts at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn on Thursday.
Addicot was often a thorn in the flesh of SWD whilst still playing for Kwazulu-Natal Inland.
The other newcomers in the SWD starting 11 are Luthando Mnyanda from Border and Adrian McLaren from Griquas.
Christiaan Jonker and Gurshwin Rabie have been released by Warriors coach, Piet Botha, for this match.
Marcello Piedt, who represented the SA Schools team in 2011, gets a debut call up and will share the new ball with Rabie.
Reece Williams, a former Warriors front line bowler, will make his SWD debut in the 50 over match that will be played at the same venue on Sunday.
