Port Elizabeth motor sports promoter Terry Moss says he's pushing for South Africa to host the karting Rok World finals in the future.
Moss was speaking today following the news that Clinton Bezuidenhout of KZN and Nathan Parkins of Gauteng had won the Mini-Rok and Rok Cup titles respectively at the World Finals in Italy at the weekend.
Moss developed the series here in South Africa and said he hoped to have an answer from the international promoters within the next two months.
He says he would dearly love to bring the event to the local karting track in Schoenmakerskop in Port Elizabeth but that the track would need a multi-million rand upgrade for that to happen.
