The Southern Kings wider training squad was named at the weekend ahead of the Port Elizabeth-based team's debut in the Super Rugby competition next year.
There are 25 forwards and 26 backs.
The forwards include the new high-profile signings, hooker Bandise Maku from the Lions and lock Steven Sykes from the Sharks.
The backs include Demetri Catrakillis from the Stormers, Andries Strauss from Free State, the New Zealander Hadleigh Parkes, former EP Craven Week star Sergeal Petersen and Waylon Murray - formerly of the Sharks and Lions.
A match practice against NMMU has been scheduled for late in January with further practice matches in February against and Eastern Cape side and as yet unnamed opponents.
