Siya Kolisi will be joining French club -- Racing 92 -- after the Rugby World Cup this year.
That's just been confirmed by the Sharks - which has granted the Springbok captain an early release from his five-year contract.
Kolisi joined the Cell C Sharks in 2021.
The club says his move to France is a new and exciting opportunity.
The 31-year-old says he's thankful to the team for making him feel so at home in Durban, and supporting his move overseas, as he begins the next chapter of his career.
Kolisi said in a statement on his official twitter handle that it goes without saying that he will give his all to the Sharks for the next few months, heading into the World Cup in France.
