Port Elizabeth-based PSL outfit Chippa United have officially reappointed Roger Sikhakhane as their new head coach for next season.
Sikhakhane returns to the Chilli Boys hotseat for the umpteenth time, having seen out the end of last season with NFD side Thanda Royal Zulu.
Chippa United PRO Lukhanyo Mzinzi told AlgoaFM Sport that they've released suspended former coach Ernst Middendorp from his contract, paving the way for Sikhakhane's return.
Chippa previously severed ties with Sikhakhane in January to make way for former Bloemfontein Celtic mentor Middendorp, but Mzinzi says the club is now looking for stability going into the new campaign.
He says the club, which narrowly avoided relegation last season, has learnt from the mistakes of chopping and changing coaches and has offered Sikhakhane a contract for the full 2015/16 season - with an option to renew for another two seasons thereafter.
