South Africa completed a dominant performance over Pakistan as the hosts coasted to a six-wicket victory on day three of the Boxing Day Test at Supersport Park, Centurion, on Friday.
The Proteas finished on 151/4 despite a late wobble, comfortably chasing down the 149 run victory target.
Dean Elgar (50) and Hashim Amla (63 not out) both picked up half-centuries in a comprehensive victory to begin the three-Test series.
Proteas fast bowler Duanne Olivier was named man of the match for his 6 wickets in the first innings and 5 in the second for a remarkable match haul of 11/96.
The second Test begins in Cape Town on the 3rd of January.
