Port Elizabeth youngster Andrew Wren is the 2012 SA junior national off-road motorcycling champion.

Wren competes for Team Extreme Yamaha Support and won this weekend's final round: Mvoti Barkbuster Junior National at Greytown KZN.

Going into the event, Wren was trailing the Senior Open Class leader, Louw Schmidt on a Suzuki by a handful of points.

But Schmidt crashed a few times and had to settle for fifth place on the day and the runner-up position in the championship.
