Pakistan have beaten South Africa by 7 wickets in the first test in the two-test series in Karachi.
The Proteas were bowled out on day four on Friday morning for 245 runs in their second innings.
That left the hosts a victory target of just 88 runs as they had enjoyed a 158 run lead on the first innings.
Pakistan reached the target with minimal fuss, finishing on 90 for 3 for a comfortable victory and a 1-nil series lead.
The second and final test gets underway next Thursday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and will be followed by a 3-match T20 series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
