After round 26 of the Absa Premiership Orlando Pirates extended their lead at the top of the table to two points after Mamelodi Sundowns suffered a shock defeat to Maritzburg United in Port Elizabeth.
While The Buccaneers played to a goalless draw against Bidvest Wits, Sundowns were beaten 1-0 by Maritzburg at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium.
Maritzburg move up to tenth on the table and Sundowns still reside in second.
Kaizer Chiefs slipped to their third straight defeat in a row after they lost 2-1 to Santos and they're now in a lowly 6th spot in the league.
SuperSport United made it three wins in a row as they beat Ajax Cape Town 2-1 to go third on the table.
