The inaugural Jeffrey's Bay Surf Challenge takes place from the 28th to the 30th of April at The Point at JBay.
The tournament is an open event, incorporating 5 divisions - Open Men's, U20 Boys, U20 Girls, U14 Boys and U14 Girls.
The total prize pool is 74-thousand rand with all finalists in all divisions receiving cash prizes.
The first prize for the Open Division is 15-thousand bucks.
The Open Division also serves as the South African Surf Industry Cup, with brand team riders accumulating points for their team whilst competing in the main event, all vying for the coveted Industry Cup.
The event is sponsored by BloodScan, and will be raising much-needed funds for the Supertubes Surfing Foundation.
