Chippa United are on the verge of parting ways with yet another coach, with Ernst Middendorp reportedly living on borrowed time - according to Kickoff.com.
The German took over at the Port Elizabeth-based club towards the end of last year, but is yet to win a game.
The Chilli Boys also suffered the embarrasment of being knocked out the Nedbank Cup by minnows Natal United.
Middendorp reportedly had to be escorted by police at the Port Elizabeth airport on Wednesday after their 2-nil defeat to Orlando Pirates in Soweto on Tuesday, with supporters calling for him to be sacked.
Should Middendorp depart, it would make him the 13th coaching casualty at Chippa United in the last three seasons.
In Wednesday night's premier league action: Zimbabwean Khumbulani Banda scored with his first touch to give Maritzburg United a shock 1-0 victory over leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
While the Amakhosi were slipping in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands to only a second loss in 23 league games this season, title-holders Mamelodi Sundowns pummelled Polokwane City 5-0 in Pretoria to move within eight points.
Sundowns have a game in hand over Chiefs and will enjoy home advantage when the clubs clash on April 29 in a potential title-decider.
