An 80-run partnership for the fourth-wicket between Jon-Jon Smuts and Colin Ingram was not good enough to save the Chevrolet Warriors from defeat on the third-day of their Sunfoil Series match against the Chevrolet Knights in Bloemfontein at the weekend.
The visitors, chasing 331 for victory, after bowling out the Knights for 327, were dismissed for 202 - handing the Knights a 128-run victory.
It was a sharp turnaround from the first day where the Knights were reduced to 32 for eight, before recovering to 140 all out, and later bowling out their opponents for 137.
But on day three, the Knights made 327 all out in the second innings with Rudi Second making the only century of the match with a knock of 113.
