JOHANNESBURG, May 14 (ANA) – Southern Kings prop Ross Geldenhuys will appear before the SANZAAR foul play review committee after picking up his third yellow card of the Super Rugby season against the Sharks in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
Any player who collects three yellow card offences during the season has to appear before the foul play review committee. The committee which will be held on Monday, will consider if any further action will be taken against Geldenhuys.
All SANZAAR disciplinary matters are in the first instance referred to the Foul Play Review Committee to provide the option of expediting the judicial process.
For a matter to be dispensed with at this hearing, the person appearing must plead guilty and accept the penalty offered by the Foul Play Review Committee. – African News Agency (ANA)
